Pollute Less

In this video I found some things you can do to pollute less
some of the actions of this video are in an entry I wrote the last week.

Commercial about Air Pollution

I liked this commercial because the bear demonstrates a good attitude when he stopped the man from contaminating the air.
We should do the same and tell our friends and family to do it, that is an efficient way to reduce air pollution.

The Performers

Is a group of actors that come every year to show us a different play.
I have seen a play of pirates, vampires, time machines, Hamlet and the last one, Romeo and Juliet.
What I didn't like about the play was:
- They cut several parts of the play that I would like to see
- The actor of the Friar was better for Romeo's role than the actual Romeo
- That the play lasted just 1 hour

What I liked about the play was:
- How they divided the scenario
- The clothes of the actors
- The effect of the lights
- That they sang some songs

RRR

How much garbage is eliminated through recycling:

-  United States produces 220 million tons of garbage every year, 32% is recycled, that means 66 million tons of garbage recycled every year
-  Canada produces 13.3 million tons of garbage every year of which 39% is recycled = 5.2 tons of garbage recycled
-  In Mexico only the 3.3% of the waste is recycled that means just 1.2 million tons.

There are 3 components of a recycling program, REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE.
These components are very important and easy for practice.
I think that the first one that you can practice is REUSE, by reusing the plastic bottles or boxes, then you can RECYCLE the bottles, boxes, etc by using them for a different activity or objective, doing that you REDUCE your individual quantity of trash.

YOU CAN DO IT! IS NOT DIFFICULT!

Air Pollution

10 Countries that produce the most trash:
     1. United States: They consume 30% of the world´s resources despite making up only 5% of world´s population.
     2. Russia: Is not too far of the US, it produces over 200 million tons of garbage every year
     3. Japan: Produces around 52.3 million tons of trash every year, but the recycling rates are high.
     4. Germany
     5. United Kingdom
     6. Mexico: The annual waste production is around 36 million tons, is not higher because the economy does not allow it.
     7. France
     8. Italy
     9. Spain
    10. Turkey

A Hanging

Have you read an essay of George Orwell about a hanging??
It is good and is included in his book 1984.
The essay is about the british police who supervise the execution of a Hindu man, the crime is not mentioned as well as the name. When the hanging was done, the "killers" went on with their life, they acted as if nothing had passed and they celebrated with a drink.
I think that the idea of killing one man because of the death of another man is something ironic.

Here is a link for you to read this essay. ENJOY IT !! :)
